Default Gloster Meteor EDF?

I fancy building a Gloster Meteor for twin 70mm fans, dose any one know of a kit, i have found some plans that i could get a short kit made from probably, but would prefer a full kit if one is available.

Thanks

Carl

Probably not enough demand for any vendor to offer a kit. I think your best bet is to buy the plans from Traplet

the 60" plan from Traplet looks ok, it's for a couple of pusher props but can see any problem with putting two fans in it, (size dependent on Nacelles diameter).

May well do a build tread if i go ahead with it

If you are not a die-hard, gotta be exact scale type, the Meteor would be just fine using 70 mm fans. I have used both the Wemo MF480's as well as the WM400 fans in twins about that size and they have ample power.

I believe that Jim Young has one in the works. Google his name and you should come up with his web site. Also, I think there was a short kit a while back for sale here on RCU Marketplace. At the same time there was the same one on that auction site. It was at least 2 months ago..........

Just read the build thread that Jim Young has done on rc groups, his Meteror is exactly what i am looking for, it is a stunning looking model.

Do you know if the short kits and plans are available yet
