I can’t remember exactly, but know I set mine as per the manual I got which only contained a CG and control throws. I’ll try to find it.

A the time of purchase, I had ask JMB about a manuel and he said there wasn't any. And during my last website visit there were no support manuals.
I just sent an email to J-M, asking for the suggested CG.

I should mention that the tank and flight times JM referenced were for a K45TP

I am using a Kingtech 60TP with a 2ltr Avanti tank and get 12 minutes, could probably squeeze 15.
I barely use the smoke as it’s not good on the covering.

I have finally maiden my PC-21. Wow! What a plane!
The feel of the plane tracking smoothly in the air is truly great. Can't wait to get a 2nd flight done, and many others for that matter.

The quality of the video is somewhat weak, but it’s just to provide an idea of how that first flight went.

Have you reached out to JMB? He did supply me a part relating to the nose gear last fall (had a prop strike - my error, but no damage to the fuselage).

Thanks for the responses. I think I’ve found something suitable from Electron for 8.50 Euro.

Digitech, When you say that the gear is from JP, are you using electic retracts? If so, please share the model/make, as I am considering converting from Air to Electric in the near future.

IIRC, the same retracts for the Sebart PC-21 XL are/were used in the JMB Jets PC-21
So you could order those (perhaps from Sebart directly) or a set from Pahl Retracts
Pahl Retracts - Online-Shop

Electron ER-40 would be another option as well.

These Pahl ones seem to just drop in place. I'll be reviewing these options and see which will work best, For the time being, "let's keep flying"! Thanks everyone

I used two vacuumed formed pilots which would normally be sold with a CARF Tucano.

The weight is 31.75Lbs, or 14.88Kg (including 1.75Lb of batteries), and excluding the weight of 2Lts of Diesel, which is about 2Kg more (nearly 4.5Lbs for fuel).

I'm curious to see if other owners of K-45TP have similar Run Settings, as I would have liked to get closer to the 170,000 RPMs at max throttle.Even if it were getting up to 165K-168K RPMs.

K-45TP settings:
Full pwr = 160 000 RPM
Idle = 50,000 RPM
Max Temp = 0940°c
Accel Delay = 006
Decel Delay = 008
Stab Delay = 100Pumpt Limit = 0412
