Installing the Blue-Bird BLE 3507 servos in the wings was a piece of cake - the stock hardware is really impressive!

The weight of mine with about 1Ltr of fuel is 12,7kg I have used the lightest equipment possible but still this is a very light air frame.
Great quality kit

I'm sure your kit being the first one was built different to mine. My kit with all electronics but excluding turbine was 9,8kg and your kit out of the box was the same weight. I'm looking at just under 14kg with full fuel. Also remember I have fitted a 8kg turbine only one fuel tank and 36 gr MKS servos all of this and more to keep the weight as low as possible. I mounted all of the batteries right upfront in the nose. I haven't checked the final CG yet but I'm looking at maybe 200grams of lead in the nose cone.
For batteries I have 1 x 2s 1900mah life for turbine , 2 x 3s 2650mah for receivers , and 1 x 3s 1500mah for gear and breaks.

I'm looking at flying the test flight next weekend which would mean mine would be the first production model to fly that I know of.

Chris can you tell us what you did with securing the aluminium tubes inside the wings ?

Ok my Hunter kit weight is the same as yours.i checken the weight complete with the Gear and your calculation is without.each Gear at the wing is 560g.the total weight of each wing is ca 2kg complete with linkage Gear servos and extra pylon Tanks.
For the Question i fixed it with a screw in the wing

Did you have to glue the mounts for the airbrake servo and the door servos ? Or were they factory installed

Hi, Please can you tell me the paint codes you used for the horns and hinges? TopRC cannot supply me the codes.

Thanks

Very well-flown scale demonstration. Nice traffic pattern and landing too.

Good job!

Very nice flying Marcio!

I believe I've worked out the bugs on my new Hunter, and hopefully we can "two-ship" demo at the next event.

Did you reinforce the gear block into the wings and in the nose?
I work on the cougar and I add wood and epoxy for both...
Thank you 😉
