The 3 pin "extra" connector on the IO board is simply the same com port as the tx and rx pins in the rj12 connector. There is only one single serial port on the ECU

I did note something you wrote, you mentioned "crosslink" between the P140RX turbines, if I'm not mistaken JetCat uses the com port for this ! If so, it will not work...
