RE: Club FOX!

Carddfann is correct about them doing all their castings in the fall and winter because it heats the building for them at no extra cost.

Like my 1999 Honda with 237,000 miles. Look for a puddle under it, if there isn't one, it must be empty:eek:.

RE: Club FOX!

We have a saying here that goes something like ''save too much money and end up being stupid'', don't how to translate that but it seems appropriate here...

Mr. Cox, the common saying for that...

RE: Club FOX!

Most of them offer an HTML version and a PDF version. Some of the HTML's don't have the pictures, but I think all of the PDF versions do, so try using that one.

Since I don't have any experience with Fox engines, the 74 in particular, is the factory muffler (tilt up or tilt down) pretty loud? I still haven't started up mine yet.

RE: Club FOX!

They are making a .50 now, looks like it's on the .45 frame, but it's set up for gasoline instead of glow. I haven't seen one first hand, only on their website.

RE: Club FOX!

Well, that's what he told me, that they had failed to mark the size. Maybe they had to mark them before they assembled them because hitting them with the stamp after they were put together could...

Fox has always marked the ''smaller''displacement of a given series engine. .40's marked, .45's not .29 sport marked and .36 sport not.

For what it's worth (and I'll admit...

RE: Anniversary model?

You've already established that it isn't a 50th Anniversary model, and the 40th Anniversary model actually has the words '40th Anniversary' cast into the cylinder, so the...

RE: Club FOX!

I think that it uses the same mufflers that fit the current .60/.74 series. Doesn't the twin also use the same two needle carburetors that the .60/.74 used before they came out with the EZ...

RE: Club FOX!

I think it's a Fox .15 Schneurle, model 21600. Certainly not an .09, only .09 I know of has rear intake and is fixed speed (i.e. for CL or FF, does not have a throttle) , not a .10 because they have...

RE: Club FOX!

I've never had a 78, but for some of the really old Fox carburetors, it is correct that the whole low speed side turns with the throttle. I've got a couple of really old 25's that work that way. Does...

RE: Club FOX!

It's a .45 with the EZ carburetor. That model is still in production. That isn't a Fox muffler on it, but hey, if it works, use it.

Hey, Matheus. There is a carburetor like you need on eBay right now, currently at $17.00 (of course, that could go up before the time runs out, in about 3 days) and he says he will ship...

RE: Club FOX!

I'm thinking that any of the large size MKX or EZ carbs would fit it. The Fox website currently only lists one carburetor (EZ 2500) to fit the .45 .46 .60 and .74. My guess is that it would also fit...

RE: Club FOX!

I think all of the Quickie 500 engines are .40's, no matter who made them. It is (was?) a racing class.
