R/C class "B" combat allows up to a .29, although most are running .25's because they're more commonly available.

I believe the Std .40 is a lapped iron piston, not ringed. If carefully broken in (that'll take at least an hour to do properly) and the correct high-castor fuel used, the lapped iron P/L can last...

Chromic "acid" is CrO3 and not a typical "acid" in the sense that most people think of say sulphuric/nitric or HF.

That was part of Scarinzi's mods. Very common mod for non-restricted pressurized systems used for combat. I moded several of my 36X's this way.
