I was able to fire up that 15 on the test stand...

I was able to fire up that 15 on the test stand yesterday. Took a bit of carb tuning to peak it out, as well as ear plugs...once opened up it really gets loud.

Anyone know of a muffler that fits...

May work to stabilize the pump as it is just the pulse fitting holding it in place. The upper and lower bosses were milled away...

O/K. Found an old Fox 15 at a friends estate. Seized solid, but was able to free it up. Even with the back and head removed, (offset plug) some serious taper to the sleeve as it tightens right up....

Check all your fasteners for tightness, especially the head. Along with a wonky plug you may have a leak develop when the engine warms up.

I used to buy an entire card of Fox plugs at their booth...

O/K. Think I have it figured out. Took some fiddling to get stable idle when glow removed and originally sobbing rich on high end. Once set still sagged nose up so increased the pump approx 3/4 turn....
