The G-26 is plenty of power for the Sig and BUSA...

The G-26 is plenty of power for the Sig and BUSA 1/4 Cubs. The problem is that there isn't much cowl left after you fit the engine.

The Saito may fly your Cub, but you probably won't enjoy it, as it is a bit on the small side. If I were to buy an engine, I'd look at an OS or Magnum 1.60 twin, four stroke, but I like twins. LOL...

I didn't notice any issues with the two die cut Goldberg Cubs, that I've built. The parts required a little dressing, but it was no big deal.

A cut ply fuselage would take the challenge, and therefore the fun out of it. It takes some experience to get to that point, though.

The Aqua Net acts as a heat activated adhesive. I spray it on to the air frame, and let it dry, before covering. I use it the same as I would use Balsa Rite.

Solartex has an adhesive already applied. Being old school, I prefer a little added insurance, so I spray on a coat on Aqua Net hair spray for peace of mind..

My friend's BUSA kit built L-4 visited my shop today. Well, at least the fuselage. We were comparing it to the fuselage that I'm building, a standard BUSA 1/4 Cub.
