Well the varnish worked fine. I applied it with a paper towel and wiped off the excess, it was still a little light, another coat with the paper towel and it balances perfectly!

The heavy side is now a bit lighter to take into account the weight of the sealant.

Great, thanks!

Now, almost Saito related... I have just balanced my prop (first wooden one) by sanding the back of the heavy blade.

What's the best stuff to use to reseal it? And failing...
