Did you completely recover from your experience with the killer glue fumes ? Sometimes those things can cause permanent damage [:@] Hope you are not having any lasting effects from...

Sorry to hear about that Hobbsy. I was not even aware that those fumes are that dangerous. I will make sure I have a fan running when I use any amount of CA. Hope you get well soon.

I just got my ceramic bearings for my Saito 82 ... I have been reading how fragile these are, and to not even think about tapping the crank in which makes this question...

You have to take the "Saito Oath" , and pass a test on this entire thread before you can be an official member of Club Saito :D

How thick is the little steel feeler guage that OS gave me with my engine ? Should both valves be set to that much clearance ?

I have all plastic spinners ( Dubro ) on my Saito 82 and my Saito 150 and they are very happy on these engines :D. I like plastic as it absorbs any kind of impact rather than the engine absorbing...

Your BEST prop for that engine will be an APC... The APC 16X6 is recommended by Saito. Remember, your RPM will increase while in the air, so dont try go get the max RPM on the ground runup.
