The model engines makers are not going to get bail outs like the big car companies .If the volumes fall a lot then after some few fire sales and a few makers go belly up then the chances the prices...

Thats debatable on how much the engine cost to buy compared to the glow version and how often you fly. Then there is the issue of possible lesser power compared to glow as in what sizes props the...

Bought a hardened Allen key and cut it to size .I then used a long nose plyers and ordinary plyers depending who could fit to help for the turning with...

Possibly I mistook 300F for 300C as I tend to forget that anybody still uses that form of temp measure.
Anyway I will try some new allen keys I bought and hopefully wont have to heat engine

...

I was monertoring another thread about removing a sticky bearing froma YS engine and in that thread they were placing the engine casing in a oven at ~300C for ~20 minutes .

Had a crash radio failure of some sort or battery or dual battery switch whatever which made a vertical dive full tilt and buried plane into thick mud and plane is DOA
Prop broke on the way in...

I have done 5 props in APC 18* 6 w with hand drilling with the eye careful to verify each drilling went senter etc all replacements from prop strikes and all balanced and tracked with no issues

Well in terms of balance it was nearly balanced
One blade was a tad heavy and a few scrapes from leading edge maybe a few grams of plactic and it seemed to balance
I did my best to make hole...

Yesterday for my Saito 180 I wanted to try out a MA three blade 16*8 intsead of the normal two bladed prop APC 18*6 W or the back up two bladed APC 17*6
I balanced out the prop best as possible...

You dont say what fuel you use and what nitro content

I don't know how heavy or light is a ZOAR make of props that you use

often changing from heavy weight APC to lighter weight zinger ...

Not sure if your problem is similar to the problem i had and then I cured
My plastic throttle arm was moving up and down when the engine was on tick over and tuning was erractic

As upmarket expensivve cars does the same as above apply to these top end cars

When my work supplys lots of overtime and bonuses then I am a lot more frivilos and tend to buy the Saitos
Things are slow so got to shop carefully and Saito glow fuels are great value still
...

20:1 is not good news when there is a lot of engines to chose from in the same size that will do 50:1

In my neck of the woods higher tax Europe the price differental from the 220 glow ...

When I was running in my Saito 180 on bench test
with 20 onz tank on ~half gas the fuel tank lasted ~20 minutes
so I figured half gas = 1 onz per minute

The Instruction book say ~55cc per...

Just got back from the LHS after getting fuel tubing which now I am fairly certian I wont need .
The LHS figures The new fuel triggered the problems and changing the fuel back to the original Zero ...
