Hey ya guys... Havin a wee bit of bother with my 180 in my Taylorcraft.... Swinging a 17x10 ( or 18x6 I forget ) on 10% nitro

My young fella decided to give my HS and LS screws some unwanted...

Hey Jim, how far out to the side of the motor does the adapter make the muffler go? and with the adapter I can angle the muffler backwards aye?

For exterior case cleaning....

A good quick and easy cleaning method I've used is a cup of hot water mixed with a heaped teaspoon of dishwasher powder. Apply with a toothbrush to subborn baked...

The conrod kisses the backplate ( an leaves them swirly marks ) when an electric starter is used. This is generally because you're pushing the starter cone on to the prop to get...

Hi Mike,

Yeah they do like to ground-loop on take-off. Just gotta learn NOT to feed it the fat too quickly, let the tail come up then increase the motion lotion and rotate. Once in the air...

Just got my Saito 180 mounted in my lastest... An ESM Cessna 180.

Got a 16x8 Master Airscrew 3 blader on it for a scale look, I've not tach'd it but seems pretty happy at idle and WOT.

Hiya Guys,

Another great engine cleaner is regular Dishwasher machine powder..... I put a heaped tablespoon into one of wife's best pots ( about a 2 litre/ 3 pint size one ) with boiling water....

Here's my Saito 180 105 inch Citabria doing a touch 'n go at Lake Forsyth ( You were right OF, Banks Peninsula )... Prop used is a Mas Classic 18x6. Turn your sound up :D

Yip, way too rich in the idle screw was mine. When I was breaking in my 180 it near guzzled my 24oz tank it about 7minutes! that was until the guys on here ( Hobbsy and w8ye in particular ) put me...

Has no one spun a 3 blader on a Saito 180 before?? If I'm spinning a Master Airscrew Classic 18x6 2 blader really well.... would a 16x8 3 blade do just as well???

You may wanna consider that the although the YS is probably more powerful than the Saito 115, The YS weighs alot more....

YS FZ110-S weighs 730grams opposed to the
Saito FA-115 weighs only...
