Bought a heap of glow motors off a friend...

Bought a heap of glow motors off a friend converting to electric and now have:

FA-45S
FA-50
FA-56
FA-65
FA-90R3

What are the differences between the FA-50 and...

What are the differences between the FA-50 and FA-56? Can I convert the FA-50 to FA-56 spec?
Reason I ask is I have both and would like to fit them to a twin.
Was hoping I could turn the FA-50...

8 1/4" at the rear of the cowl and 6 1/2" at the front.

I think I will have to go with one of three engines.
OS 200FS
Saito 1.80 or 2.20?
Aerovate 28cc gas.

I thought long and hard...

I was hoping for around 8-10 minutes so 10 minutes at full noise should be fine for any of those engines.

Unfortunately the vid won't load for me. I am not running Windows as an operating system and havent setup my Linux computer with flash video etc. Will boot to windows tonight and check it out.

I have a 74" KMP Corsair and am trying to figure out which engine I want to fit.

Was wondering which engine you guys would recommend out of the 180, 182TD and the 170R3?
Judging from the KMP...

Is a pump necessary to run a saito (or other 4 strokes) in this way? I guess long uplines would be out of the question?

I am surprised there isn't more of this machined alloy after market parts available for planes. I used to race 1/8 scale offroad nitro buggies and you could replace everything on them with CNC...

It's a shame you can't get them for the smaller Saito's. I only have a FA-50 at the moment and would love to chuck a set on that in a .25 sized aerobat or something.

I had an OS 70 that wouldn't richen up on the high speed needle no matter how far I wound it out. Could have the needle held in by the o-rings only and it still wouldnt richen up enough.

Here in the midwest of West Aus its very dry. Rust can still develop on engines that are left for a while.
Methanol will draw any moisture out of the air. To try it get a shallow dish and put 10ml...

I usually use this chart to find out what 3 or 4 blade prop to use.
