Thanks for the tips. I will use them all.
The overheating really concerns me as I sure don't want to damage the engine further
or take a chance on a dead stick and losing...

Thanks for the tip on 'blow method'.
I will try it over the weekend and give it a go.
I am using Cool Power 15% nitro all syn. oil.
Plug is brand new OS "F".

Well, thanks to help from Club Saito and Hobbys I did manage to remove my 115 pushrods and sure enough one had a .010 est. bend in it.
As far as the bent pushrod 'tube' I was able to remove the...

Phil,
The metal back cover for the 72/82 is a great idea. I had the exact same problem with my 72 and only figured out what was happening with the help of the great guys right here at Club Saito....

I have the exact conditon you mention - the carb manifold/intake tube can be grasped with 2 fingers and easily moved fore and aft. Even when full seated to start it moves rearward to expose...
