I can ream out the centre hole on the prop, it has a tone of meat there..
That would allow me to enlarge the spigot to 10mm (I was assuming this would face toward the engine and go into the prop)

I'd love to have a lathe, but just don't have the space for it. One day I will fill in the pool and build a nice big shed.
I don't know of anyone who has one, but will ask around the club.

Thanks for the reply, might be a bit costly to ship down under.. The 13" props are withing the operating range of the motor, so maybe better staying with them.
