I have now reassembled my saito 100 and have the vavles set at .002 and the thing vibrates bad! When i loosen the valves to .008-.010 it smoothes out great! Why??????? Thanks

well, thanks for the everything couldn't have done it without this forum! I sent a email to rc bearings about this becuase it is rather irritating that I have a beautiful plane and don't need it...

I guess the vibration was because it was hard mounted to my stand. It is still alittle juicy but that front bearing is leaking like crazy! Any suggestions?

I had read your previous thread and the rocker arms are straight and level across. What would I find if the timing was off? This motor runs great exept for the vibration and the raw fuel at the carb!

I did use the hole to make sure the cam mark was straight down when the piston was TDC. Maybe its one tooth off! the cam mark goes srtaight down, correct?

Its funny you say that because my 100 that has 4 gallons through it has bad bearings! What fuel do you recommend? Are ceramic bearings worth it and do they really give higher rpm's? What bearings...

hey Hobbsy,

Why do they call it the green engine killer? I have used coolpower for two years in 2 and 4 strokes and this Saito 100 is the only motor thats had significant problems!

I had this same problem above half throttle on a 100. It was the brass tube on the feual tank cut a small hole in the carb feed line and the motor was starved for fuel after a certain point!!!!
