I think 8800-9200 is within range. Down much lower I don't think your getting full power advantage out of the engine and you may be generating more heat. The cooler the better as far as engine life...

How does the performance of the FA 125 differ over the 120? I have been flying the 120 and I was not really impressed with the performance. Of coarse that was mounted on a bi-plane. High drag, etc.
