create a chart of all engines, there weight, and power and then map them out in a chart

you will find the Saito 1.25 has the highest power to weight ratio of any engine.

You should use the correct Saito "full throttle needle extension" just for the packaging. I like the idea of grinding a flat blade slot in it my self.

I just put new bearings in the FA-50. When putting it back together i put the dot on the cam gear down, when the crank is at TDC. Is this correct?

Please be sure to use the correct product when you need to extend the highspeed needle valve to reach through the fuse or cowl.
