Hobbsy, Yes the one on the left is exactly like mine.
It is very easy to set the HS to peak, the tack & my ear agree every time.

I’ve been running my 45MII installed in the Taube and still unable to get a
good idle. It seems as I go below 3000-3100rpm it will quit or be just ready to stop.
Top end is real good and smooth...

Well Thanks to you folks I've got the nipple rotated up straight and as you suggested, just loosen the nut and turn.
I've identified my 45 as the MII.

donkey doctor, Just went back and took another look at my 45, son of a gun, there is a nut there and it holds the needle valve tension spring in place. Perhaps by loosening that I'll be able to...
