Castor has some filming properties that synthetics don't. It films onto the surfaces that it lubricates, so it's reputed to add to a fuel's overall lubricating quality in blends. 3% castor in a blend...

I just broke a 72 down and re-assembled it after breaking a rocker arm. If I can do it, anybody can! [&:]
