My observation is that the spar box is inadequately made, material and glue. So if the spar brace parts from the wooden spar it will result in failure... That is what the wood insert (in the fix) in...

As to whether it can be made as a two piece wing.... That is simple Just fly it and you will get a two piece wing and 3 or 5 piece turbine and multipiece servos.. Mine had the wing fold on the tenth...

My wing failed at about 10 flight. During straight and level flight and I wasn't lucky enough to just lose the airframe.. It went in from about 100 feet and was pretty much a total... I had not...
