When I got mine the Fuse was one piece. Nice change they made. Facilitates assembly as well as saves money on shipping.

I didn't realize it took so much aileron.

I probably won't get to try it until the spring time. It get cold and snowy here in the winter.

Exactly! And every time that happens the spring winds up and stresses the nose gear mount.

I think I'm just going to rebend (spread apart) the stock main gear and lower the nose by...

I made some 45 degree plywood gussets and glued them against the bulkhead, to the sides of the fuse and to the front compartment floor using Hysol. I put them in where the bottom hatch is...

The only flaws I've found are the wheels and the main gear axles. The wheel hubs bend easily of side l;oads are applied. I had tio crab in on a landing due to a stiff crosswind. The side load caused...

You won't need flaps for take off. Mine has a PST J600R and it takes off in a bout 100 feet on grass.

I'm carrying a 50 oz and a 12 oz tank plus the UAT. After 7 minutes of half-hrottle flying I land with a 1/4 tank in the 50 oz.
