Well, now that explains a lot about Pope! j/k.

Mine isn't near the can't move threshold yet, but getting there. Just had another chest pain episode 5 minutes ago. Still having lingering pain in my neck. I would prefer not to get on pain killers, once on them, it is hard to get off, and you may start feeling so good you wind up doing something to cause more injury. I hear ya about dumping. There are times my back pops during the deed.

It is keeping me from playing with my Saitos though. Since my elbow started hurting I haven't been able to work on my planes, if I hold something with my arm bent it starts to ache and is very difficult to straighten out, so other than mounting and setting up the FG-11 on my LT-40, I haven't done anything with them.

Probably not, if they ever did, they have a different cylinder now. Deeper and more fins, new on the right.

Hi there acdcr2d2 , I figure they make pain pills for pain ! I know that's just a wild stab in the dark but if your legitimately in pain your entitled to it . What on earth else is it for ? I have a friend whose in his 50's and to see him walk is painful to watch . A hundred year old moves better . He was one who said to me before he had back issues that he had a high pain threshold . Well guess what , its not so high now . I've said to him about pain meds and he's on bugger all . So he's happy to watch his quality of life go down the drain just because he has a douche bag of a doctor who won't help .U have to take things into your own hands sometimes . He should drop that doc. like a hot spud and find a decent one . So what if uget addicted to the stuff , as long as you take the advised dose and they can't offer you a better treatment well.....
This isn't aimed at u acdc , I'm just on a roll !

First off this was the second time.
Well it was 95 degrees all weekend, i did drink lots of water but still was getting hot. So then in Monday the apartment i started to work In was usually air-conditioned but wasn't working too good. So no real relief there just got the hot tired and sweaty. Then Tuesday they shut off the air because the A-coil turned in to a block of ice so they had to thaw it out. So no air and i got hotter. Not to mention the air in my truck wasn't working good either so the only relief I was getting was at night at home. Wednesday morning started working in the hot stuffy apartment looked up at the thermostat to see how hot it was and just about passed out that's when I wound up in the hospital. So 5 days of 95 ish degrees and my body said its time to take a few days off. I still haven't got all my energy back and just been working slow and steady for the past month and half. It takes twice as long to do my job then it used to.

Pope that is exactly the same thing my wife goes through. They think she is an addict and every time she needs a refill they treat her as such and that upsets me. Sometimes i wis those doctors would get the same pain just to hear them wine about how hard it is to get prescription drugs.
Well gee thanks everyone i feel like a million bucks now. I just have your normal every day aches and pains from a hard days work.

I hear ya, been there, done that, though not hospital enough. Got sunstroke or sun poisoning, not sure which. Very nasty. Could not move without going into a shivering frenzy. Took a week before I was well enough to do anything other than sit or sleep.

Hang in there Capt . it is a tuff road .Ask her doc to get referred to a pain clinic . They didnt do much for me as I was on the the pills that worked for me anyway ( that time i was refereed by the neurosurgeon ) . They just said the 1st time I went there that seeing your getting relief just carry on . I asked the doc to go there again some yrs later as things were getting worse so they tried a few different meds in addition to the ones I was taking and one helped . Its a anti epileptic med that helps nerve pain as well . If nothing else they will be able to tell her local doc that the pain is real and that may change his view on things . I think there scared they will have to deal with a drug addicted crac head who goes doctor shopping . No doubt that happens but let them deal with those separately . Thats nothing to do with you . Ive seen the same doc for about 15yrs and once he was away so i had to see another one for scripts . Here in Oz the morphine scripts have to be sent away to be authorized to get a 3 mths supply otherwise u would be at the docs every 2weeks which would drive me nuts . Anyway this dick of a doc says u shouldnt be on these and whats wrong with your foot anyway ( I said foot what on earth are u on about ) . What he had done was look at the 1st page of the doctors notes which had been written some 15 yrs earlier when I went there 1st for some minor ailment and was asked if I had any previous surgery when I 1st moved into town . Needless to say that visit didnt go down to well and we were both in for a surprise that day . There are some docs that actually have a handle on pain issues ( usualy the younger ones ) and relised its best to keep it under control than to get people into a desperate state that then gets them buying the gear off the street from some scumbag .Thinking of butterflies , pretty flowers and looking on the bright side doesnt give u pain relief despite what some may think .Cheers

Dave my main gripe about the three 125's i've had anything to do with was that they seemed 'reluctant' to settle down or give the performance the benchmark prop suggests.I've heard all the stuff about how they take a bit longer than other sizes of saito engines to free up and perform, but that does'nt appease the fact that after an hour or so on the bench the 125 is now fitted to an expensive plane you have a vested interest in test flying, right now,and the 125 won't pull a 16x6 apc with any authority, let alone a wideblade 16x6 mas.My 115 did all this far more easily and a lot sooner with a mas 15x8 on the midget mustang. It's not much fun taking off with an engine you think is being sluggish and suggesting it just might quit if it feels like it.Not saying i'm right,it's just what i've seen here. Now here's a pic of the saito 30 brochure (minus the italian ducati pit girls! which seem to disappear) which i'm sure you will find interesting.I think it's a saito 30sc and has a much different carby, can you shed any light on that? re valves and springs not to mention all the other moving parts.

ps sad to hear that so many people here are in pain of one sort or another..so get your detective skills out and hunt up some info on this saito 30sc willya?? cheers boys

It just doesn't make any sense that the 1.25 would be different, it's built exactly the same way and out of the same materials as all the rest except for a couple,of twins, that may have different cylinder construction. Of course it must be remembered that Horizon get it's numbers using 30% nitro methane and I, for example, get mine using 10% and my 9,150 with a 16x6 Xoar ain't bad. When the hand gets usable again I'll wring the 1.25 out some more. All stitches were removed yesterday.

Maybe if I put it next to my 1.25 the 1.25 will improve it's looks.

Hey Hobbs, why so much white space in your sig line?

The 125 I have in my Mustang rips the prop, when it runs. Last time out could not get it started and it was always a PITA to get started.

It would focus the attention on the engine and not the thumb!

Looking at prop bites is like looking at the wild pitch at the Red Sox game the other day. You just have to see the results for it to hurt!

First pitch at Red Sox game hits photographer in groin | The Kansas City Star

The photographer got a heck of a picture but his "McNuggets" may never be the same!

I have run into that in the past. Try deleting it all together, submit it, then put what you want back in. That has fixed it for me on another forum.

Wouldn't this Piper Pawnee kit look good with my Saito 1.00 twin peaking out the sides. Eureka has it. 77".
