see these Russians dig out a V12 some 10ft down, I think they start it without rebuilding it

I recently picked up a 96" Senior Telemaster for free, well almost. I haven't decided on an appropriate engine size for it. I have no idea on cg or control throws either. PM me if you can share some info.

I'm not much for the "looks" of highly acrobatic planes like the Edge or Cap and others. but I like the way mid wings fly and feel on the sticks... I like scale Biplanes but they are just not what I am into right now. I had a Foker D7 with a TT GP40 in it, I loved it, it was very fun to fly. the engine stalled and it crashed hard, I sold it less flight electronics for the money the guy had in his pocket,,,,, $7 , he fixed it and it didn't fly well, he crashed it and it was gone for ever

Never thought I'd buy another lazy flyer but here you go.

Senior Telemaster, 2 piece wing w/ hardwood joiners. Don't know whether it was from arf or kit. Maybe I'll lob the Saito FG21 on it?

That looks like the one I have
does it have dual servos on the elevator?
i glued my wing together and made it bolt on.
then put a Saito 120 on it. Also who ever built mine didn’t cut the covering back when they glued the tail on. And the wing tip had been damaged and they didn’t know how to do a repair. After I fixed all that and recovered the wing. It should be a good flyer

Anybody near by need a Rascal 110? It is winter but hardly worth burning in the fireplace. I may just bust it up and toss it into the trash.

Now that hurts! Nothing against the Salvation Army but I'm afraid they would toss them because they don't know what to do with them.

last night I put my giant GeeBee Y up for sale on my friends user name on RC Groups and today I have some one asking about it, if I sell it I think I will buy the 70" Ryan STA that Towers sell. I'v been wanting it. if the GeeBee sells I will sell my Super Tartan 44cc Twin and maybe my MVVS 35cc gasser.. my fingers are crossed

I did some research on the Senior Telemaster, looks like folks are running engines up to 26cc with only minor mods. Looks like I'll be removing the wood engine bearers, laminating on a firewall doubler and mounting up the Saito fg21 gasser on the nose.

Looks like this Tele is going to make a great "spur of the moment" pasture flyer. No need to lug a starter, battery or ignitor to my pasture flight pad and the life battery on board will hold a charge for months. I could fly for an hour on one tank of gas. The fg21 should yank it off my 120 ft. diameter flight pad plenty quick enough and spot landing should be doable, especially with a 6" pitch prop idling at less than 1700 rpm. I may even try it with some flaperon mixing.

Saito gassers have their place too, I think this is a good example.

No lugging necessary. With 5" wheels I'll just taxi it from my shop to the flight pad. No need to worry about fuel consumption on the way there or back to the shop either!

Taxiing from the shop? No worry about fuel or starter gear for that matter . My starter is usually 16 miles away anyhow
