I only put it in the breather tube, it foams up big time and goes everywhere inside the engine. On two strokes I turn the crank til the intake port is open and stick the little red tube right down into crankshaft and let er rip.

I've moved my fuel tanks back a bit,hobo posted ages back on saito's drawing good fuel,they run better upside down like the handbrake does,she can suck a golfball thru twenty feet of garden hose when she has to.

The new "SEARCH THIS THREAD" option absolutely kicks ass.
I found this jewel of a post back on page 19.
I saw an article on the FA-125 and it had a neato dynograph all plotted out. Since the above mentioned dyno goes to only .91 size, have they released a larger one?
I've often wondered where different engines made their peak power in the RPM range.
Hobbsy, have you ever plotted out RPM vs Power for any of the engines you've tested?

I have done that with a Fox .74, I bought this thing mostly to test the difference in torque and rpm between a glow and a Davis Diesel conversion of the same engine. The test of the Saito .82 pictured was a bust, the widely spaced powerpulses of a fourstroke make taking readings all but impossible. Since this has come up I'll try again.

Happy good friday and easter break for those who celebrate this long weekend.Climate change or shall i give up on the weather forecast and go back to throwing darts at the board.32 degrees forecast in spring and we get a 38 plus so even the little 30 ran rich and got all choaked up,lots of fun tho

Thanks for the info, i had not checked them. My luck their out of stock, but at least they are getting some.
I found this motor at a swap meet for 10.00 i could not beleive it, two bearings a rod and i got me another
SAITO .65GK! that makes 3 .65's. Life is great.Lets go fly.

Still messing with the 91 on the Hog Bipe. Experimenting with props it seems the HSN needs readjusting to tune for each different prop. I'm also chasing the LSN a bit and man is it a narrow band now, maybe inside 30 degrees or less. The question is would the LSN usually need adjustment when changing prop sizes? I think the 14x6 I'm trying today will be the best.

Dave, I hope you've been flying it for at least 1.5 of those gallons, a Saito can be broken in and set up in about 40 to 50 minutes run time from the initial start up. The LS needle will have a sweet spot that is indeed fairly narrow, it may need tweaked slightly for a different prop since the two needles effect each other somewhat. Other Dave

Little help here. Trying to decide now between a 100 and a 125 for a new project. The 100's mounting dimensions (from HH site) shows 115x60x128 and 19.5 oz (553 g). This corresponds with the spec numbers from the manual. The 125 however has a huge discrepancy. The dimensions (again from HH) show it to be 152x60x126 and 21.9 oz (620 G). The manual spec shows 119x60x127 and 18.3 oz (520 g). Thats a huge difference in overall length and weight. Which numbers do I use. It matters in this airframe.
