Hello Kmot, I have never removed the head but I just inspect the jacket closely and I think it's set firmly on the fins, exactely like on the most of water cooled engines I suspect you can't...

the air intake (with a sliding tin choke) faces the fire wall outside the engine . do you need a pic ?

Hello

here are 2 marine Saito FA-40 with factory water jacket and flywheel : I got them both in Germany, maybe they were not imported in the USA ?

The open rocker one is MIB -note...
